MENA Holding continues to strengthen its position as one of the region’s diversified investment groups through strategic expansion across real estate, industrial manufacturing, agriculture, entertainment, logistics, and contracting. With operations spanning Kuwait, Egypt, and Morocco, the company has consistently focused on long-term value creation and sustainable growth.

In an executive interview, Mohamed A. Abdulsalam, Chief Executive Officer of MENA Holding, highlighted the company’s strategic direction, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a balanced and diversified investment portfolio across multiple sectors and geographic markets.

Established in 1991, MENA Holding has grown into a leading regional investment company with a capital of 66 million Kuwaiti Dinar. According to Abdulsalam, the company’s diversified business model enabled it to navigate periods of economic uncertainty while maintaining financial stability and creating consistent value for shareholders.

A significant portion of the group’s investment portfolio is concentrated in Egypt, where approximately 70% of investments are located, while the remaining 30% are based in Kuwait. Among its flagship developments is El Mahroussa City, one of Egypt’s largest real estate projects, alongside several commercial and mixed-use developments that reflect the company’s long-term investment vision.

Beyond real estate, MENA Holding continues to operate across multiple industries, including steel manufacturing through K-Span systems, contracting, agriculture, fisheries, family entertainment, and food & beverage, reinforcing its strategy of building resilient businesses through diversification.

The group’s ongoing expansion into new industries and markets remains focused on generating sustainable returns while strengthening shareholder value.

Reflecting on receiving the Young CEO of the Year 2014 recognition, Abdulsalam described the achievement as a collective success, crediting the dedication and commitment of the entire MENA Holding team.

As part of its long-term growth strategy, the company continues to explore new regional opportunities, including expanding its industrial operations and K-Span business into additional Gulf markets while maintaining transparency, strong governance, and disciplined investment management.
